Carpentry

Carpentry is the basic trade of the construction industry. Students in this area have classroom and shop learning experiences involving layout, fabrication, assembly, installation and repair to structures. Instruction is included in the care and use of hand and power tools, equipment and materials, and common systems of frame construction. The installation of many kinds of hardware is also in the job description.
