ADULT EDUCATION PROGRAM OUTLINE

RESIDENTIAL WIRING II

A basic 40-hour course introducing the electrical theory, wiring skills and practices, tools, materials, and National Electrical Code Requirements necessary to safely and competently repair or construct new, residential type wiring circuits.

A. Introduction and overview of the course

C. Low voltage circuits, telephones, bell wiring, and door chimes

D. Special purpose outlets and 240-volt applications

E. BX and MC cable projects

F. G.F.C.I. applications
