Instruction is provided in the proper use, maintenance, and repair of welding equipment. Units are also provided in arc welding, acetylene welding, heliarc welding, and introduction to sub-arc welding. Since blueprint reading is a necessary skill for welders, training in this area is provided throughout the two-year sequence. Basic metallurgy procedures will also be reviewed.
